- CTD when loading for no apparent reaon - posted in Skyrim Mod Troubleshooting: Ive attempted to make a mod pack, thatll stay fun for a long time. As a result, I have 400 mods (around 350 plugins, 233 of which are active). This means Ive had to merge plugins using XEdit. All went well, until I actually tried to play.

- Note that the mods are listed in reverse order, and those with 'Output' in their names are ones that are generated by external tools, like FNIS generator or Requiem patch program. I removed some of the mods with adult content but intentionally left a few, in case I thought they could enhance the immersion without breaking the lore too much.

1 year agoFor those who don't know, Deadly Mutilation is a mod for Classic Skyrim that enables gore and dismemberment. Attacks from various weapons will dismember enemies in various ways (cut in half, head crush, arm cut off etc.)
ANNOUNCEMENT:
I managed to get the classic version working perfectly for SE and it is somewhat stable. Here is my guide:
SKSE AND SKY UI ARE REQUIRED FOR MCM FUNCTIONALITY
- I first downloaded the CORE, CBBE, 1.3.4 Update files as well as the XP32 Compatible Skeletons files (ALL OF THESE FILES ARE FROM THE DEADLY MUTILATION SKYRIM CLASSIC NEXUS PAGE) and merged them all into one folder (Let the 1.3.4 update overwrite the CORE and Let the XP32 compatible skeletons overwrite everything.
- I then optimized ALL the .NIF's in the folder using SSE NIF Optimizer.
- Then I launched CK and resaved the .esp to update it for SSE.
- Then I zipped the mod using the file structure DM.zip --> Inside the zip it is 'Data' --> Inside that are all the files and .esp
- I installed the .zip using NMM
- I OVERWROTE the XP32 Skeleton since I already installed the compatible Skeletons provided by Lamer1000
- Finally, I loaded DM AFTER XPMSSE.esp in the load order and Launched the game

Slaughtered all the guards in Whiterun using various weapons and all the effects were working as intended.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO is install my .zip and let it overwrite XP32 (IT IS A REQUIREMENT FOR MY ZIP) and CBBE (ALSO A REQUIREMENT) and Load the Mod's .esp AFTER XPMSSE.esp in the load order. That should make everything work fine.
Please report back on this thread if you get CTD's or if there are any incompatibilities with other mods that you find (especially ones related to XPMSSE and CBBE)
